Zigler Art Museum

The Colonial-style building in which the Zigler Art Museum is housed was built in 1902 as a family residence.  It was donated in 1963 by Ruth Zigler to serve as a cultural center for the area.

The museum contains an impressive collection of more than 200 works of Louisiana, American and European art; the National Audubon Society Abbeville Press facsimile of the double elephant folio of Birds of North America; and the largest collection in the world of the artwork by renowned African-American artist William Tolliver.

The central gallery of the museum features exhibits of guest artists that rotate throughout the year.
