Tunica-Biloxi Museum

The museum houses the rich and unique history of the Tunica and Biloxi Native American Indian tribes.  The Tunica Treasure has over 200,000 artifacts that are considered to be the best physical evidence of the interrelationship between the Tunica and French during the Colonial period.  Artifacts include trading goods that the French gave to the Tunica in exchange for horses and salt – glass beads, bowls, plates, cooking utensils, tools and guns.  Items made by the Tunica people, such as bowls, jars, and plates, are also on display.
