Louisiana Telephone Pioneer Museum

The Louisiana Telephone Pioneer Museum tells the story of the history of the telephone from its invention in 1876 to our modern day wireless technology.  Exhibits include an interactive world map, a project room featuring displays and videos of various Pioneer projects, and a working model of a step-by-step switch that allows students to place calls within the museum using 1940s technology.  Each exhibit has an audio presentation, in both English and French, describing the display.
