Louisiana Travel | Places to Visit: Crystal Rice Heritage Farm

Crystal Rice Heritage Farm, established in 1890, brings you the unique experience of visiting a working rice and crawfish farm.  You can take an Agri-Tour showing how the farmers grow crawfish and rice in the same field.  Visit Francine’s Blue Rose Musuem that houses many worldly collectibles and Acadian/Creole history.  The cottage was originally built of Louisiana cypress and bousillage.  Salmon’s Classic Car Garage is filled with collectibles including  S.L. Roadsters, a 1937 Packard and a 1964 Cutlass Oldsmobile.  You can join noted Louisiana chef, Patrick Mould, at the Louisiana School of Cooking and Cajun Store and take part in a variety of cooking classes.  Chef Mould develops a 3-course Cajun meal especially for your group.  For more information, visit
