Snowball Cake

INGREDIENTS:

2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
20 oz. can crushed pineapple or 1 large pkg. frozen strawberries
3 pkg. Dream Whip
Angel food cake
1 pkg. coconut flakes

DIRECTIONS:

Dissolve 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin in 2 tbsp. cold water. Add 1 cup boiling water and mix well. Add sugar, lemon juice and pineapple or strawberries. Place in refrigerator until partially chilled, about 20 minutes. Fold in 2 packages of Dream Whip that has been mixed according to directions.

Trim brown crust off of large store-bought angel food cake and discard. Break cake into tiny pieces.

Line large mixing bowl with wax paper. Alternate layers of cake pieces and Dream Whip-gelatin mixture.

Refrigerate overnight.

Turn out onto cake plate and frost with one package Dream Whip. Cover with a package of frozen coconut.
