Sad Cake

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups Bisquick mix
1 box dark brown sugar
4 eggs
½ cup oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup pecans 

 

DIRECTIONS:

Mix sugar and Bisquick. Add all other ingredients, mixing well.

Pour into a greased 8x10-inch pan.

Bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not overbake. Let cool. Cut into squares.

Even though the recipe is good as is, you can make additions to it if you want. If you have an overripe banana you can add it to the mix, or perhaps oatmeal, raisins, etc. I had some extra white chocolate chips left over from a bread pudding I had made – not enough to do anything with but I threw them in the mix.
