Rum Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons butter
2 oz. rum extract

 

Bread Pudding

DIRECTIONS:

In a double boiler, put milks, sugar, and butter. When hot, dissolve cornstarch in a little water and add to hot milk. Stir until thick. Remove from fire, add rum extract and stir.

Serve over bread pudding.
