Pineapple Icebox Cake


1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
2 egg yolks, well beaten
¾ cup pineapple juice
1 regular can crushed pineapple
1 cup chopped nuts
1 lb. vanilla wafers
Whipped cream


Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, then juice, a very little at a time. Add pineapple and nuts.

Line bottom of dish with wafers. Cover with pineapple mixture. Refrigerate or freeze.

Cut into squares for serving, adding a dollop of whipped cream.
