Pete's Dessert

INGREDIENTS:

Crust:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 stick butter
1/3 cup chopped pecans

Filling:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 3-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1-1/3 cup Cool Whip

Topping:
6-3/4 oz. chocolate instant pudding
2-1/2 cups milk
Cool Whip

DIRECTIONS:

For crust, mix flour and butter with pastry cutter. Add pecans. Press into a thin layer in 8x8 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool an hour.

For filling, mix together powdered sugar, cream cheese, and Cool Whip. Spread on top of crust.

For topping, prepare chocolate pudding using 2-1/2 cups milk. Spread pudding over cream cheese mixture. Top with Cool Whip. Refrigerate.
