Pecan Pie


¼ cup butter
½ cup granulated sugar
3 eggs
¾ cup molasses
Juice of 1 lemon
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 pie pastry


Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, molasses, and lemon juice and beat. Add pecans and pour into pie pastry.

Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then decrease heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes longer.
