Pecan Meringues

INGREDIENTS:

1 egg white
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 ½ cups pecan pieces

DIRECTIONS:

Beat egg whites, gradually add sugar. Add vanilla. Sift together flour and salt over mixture. Add pecans.

Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Cook at 275 degrees for 30 -35 minutes. Check on them after 20 minutes to see how they are coming along and keep an eye on them thereafter.
