Mom's Strawberry Fig Preserves


3 cups sugar
3 cups figs
1/2 cup water
2 3-oz. packs strawberry Jello


Mix sugar and Jello. Add figs and water. Cook on medium-high heat for 20 minutes. Spoon into hot jars. Submerge in water and boil 5-20 minutes.

Good recipe but it doesn’t say how many and what size jars to use. Thanks!

Usually use half pint jars . . . about 6 jars.
