Icebox Cookies


¾ cup butter
¾ cup Crisco
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 ½ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts


Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.

Sift dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture. Fold in nuts.

Refrigerate overnight. Shape into rolls. Freeze. Slice and place on greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
