Hazel's Pecan Cake

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup sugar
2 cups ground pecans
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

DIRECTIONS:

Bring 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar to a boil. Add 2 cups ground pecans and 1 tbsp. butter. Add 1 tsp. vanilla after you take off stove. Spread on yellow cake. Either spread on entire cake or spread on top of bottom layer and on top layer and use vanilla frosting for sides of cake.
