Fried Shrimp or Crawfish


1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 eggs
1 – 5 oz. can evaporated milk
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoon vinegar
Cajun seasoning
1 cup all-purpose flour
Oil for frying


In a bowl with cover, mix eggs, milk, baking powder, and vinegar. Marinate shrimp in refrigerator for at least 1 hour in this mixture.

Remove shrimp from mixture and season lightly with Cajun seasoning. Dip in flour and deep fry in hot oil.
