Fried Cabbage

INGREDIENTS:

1 head shredded cabbage
2 tablespoons oil or bacon drippings
1 cup boiling water
2 teaspoons brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon vinegar

DIRECTIONS:

Place all ingredients except vinegar in heavy skillet and cook until cabbage is lightly browned and tender. Just before serving, stir in vinegar.
