Crabmeat Casserole 2

1 lb. crabmeat and shrimp, if desired
1 block butter
1 onion, chopped
1/4 bell pepper, chopped
1 12-oz. can evaporated milk
2-3 slices bread, broken into small pieces (add more if not thick enough)
2 eggs
1 tbsp. parsley
Bread crumbs


Saute onions and bell pepper in butter. In bowl, mix evaporated milk, bread, eggs, and parsley. Let this mixture soak.

Add sauteed onions and bell pepper to mixture. Add crabmeat and shrimp. Mix altogether. If too watery, add bread. If too dry, add evaporated milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Spray glass dish and pour in mixture. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Put butter pats on top.

Bake at 400 degrees F for 20-30 minutes.
