MAKES:
2 pies

Crab Pie

INGREDIENTS:

1 tablespoon butter
½ cup chopped bell pepper
¼ cup chopped green onions
¼ cup chopped onions
2 cups crab meat
Shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup evaporated milk
2 eggs, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons flour
2 pie shells

 

DIRECTIONS:

Pre-bake pie shells 5-10 minutes.

Sauté bell pepper, green onions, and onions in butter until soft. Add flour and remaining ingredients. Mix well.

Pour into pie shells. Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 10 minutes uncovered.
