Chocolate Fantasia

INGREDIENTS:

½ cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup milk
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup nuts (optional)
1 tablespoon vanilla

 

Topping:

2/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa

DIRECTIONS:

Mix all ingredients in large bowl until smooth. Pour into greased 8x12-inch pan. Cover with topping.

Topping:
Mix together topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Pour 1 cup cold water over top of topping. Do not stir.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. The bottom of the dish will be pudding and the top cake.
