Chili Beans


1 ½ lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
2 lb. canned red beans with liquid
2 – 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt



Brown ground beef and drain fat. Add onion and green pepper. Cook until wilted. Add remaining ingredients and simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
