40 pralines

Cajun Pecan Pralines

INGREDIENTS:

5 cups sugar
4 oz. butter
1 – 13 oz. can evaporated milk
1 – 14 oz. can condensed milk
4 cups finely chopped pecans
2 tablespoons vanilla

 

DIRECTIONS:

Cook sugar, butter and milks over high heat, stirring constantly for about 30 minutes or until a soft ball forms when dropped into cold water. Add pecans and vanilla and stir until well blended. Quickly spoon out onto waxed paper and let cool.
