1 pkg. Duncan Hines Classic White Cake mix
3 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 – 12 oz. can evaporated milk
1/2 can water
1 teaspoon vanilla

Prepare cake mix according to package directions.  Take out 1/4 of batter, about 1-1/4 cups and set aside.

Bake the rest of the batter in a 13x9" pan at 350 until done, about 23 minutes.

Cool and cut cake into 1-inch squares.  Tumble into a large bowl.

Beat eggs with whisk.  In heavy large pot, mix sugar, eggs, milk and water.  Over medium heat, warm mixture, stirring constantly.  Slowly pour 1-1/4 cups batter into milk mixture.  Cook until mixture reaches pudding consistency, stirring constantly or it will stick and become lumpy.  Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Cool slightly.  Pour over cake squares and tumble slightly.  Put in pretty glass serving bowl.

Refrigerate leftovers.
